Our recent trip to Paris inspired me to get back into traditional medium. This is a very non-Stumpytown style for me, but I used to LOVE drawing portraits and its been years since I've drawn them. I'm feeling rusty, but I know it will take practice, practice, practice...   baby steps.

This is based off of Rich Werner's character, Dr. Zomboss!

The beginning - cut the top of the head off and started sculpting the eyes with Magic Sculpt.

I made this sculpt for Dev, years ago...  I finally got around to painting him!
He now sits in our planter in the kitchen.

I made a plush version of this guy a few years back... decided it would be fun to make in paperclay!
I coated him in matte varnish and hit the intestines and blood with a glossy varnish to make it look more JUICY!
