UPDATE! Please read!

If you find this page, please either click my Banner or go to '' to find my recent posts! Something happened to my blog during the past migration and you may not see the new stuff. Booo.

Just a heads up folks, as of May 1, Blogger will no longer support FTP publishing. I am about to attempt this crazy-migration-tool-thingie and see what happens. Cross your fingers... it looks like a bumpy ride ahead...

... a few more STUMPYTOWN items...

Along with the Stumpy Henchman #21 plushies, I made some Severed-hand Keychains and Tempura Shrimp Keychain Bento Boxes for the ComicCon!

I currently don't have anymore available, but will be making more soon for my Etsy.

8th Annual Emerald City ComicCon 2010

WOW. I had an amazing weekend at the Con! We saw so many old friends and made a few new ones! It was exhausting, but I definitely want to have a table again next year. Here are a few shots of my fellow artist friends (we got to all sit together, which was cool.)

Suzanne and me! (lady, I'll put your link when it's 'ready')

Flatcolor Gallery: Henchmen & Sidekicks

Here is my peice for the Henchmen & Sidekicks show at Flatcolor Gallery this month. It's Gary, a.k.a. Henchman #21 from The Venture Bros.! I wanted him to look like a Butterfly specimen / dissected frog, thus the guts and shadowbox. He is made of basswood and painted with Acryla-Gouche and Cel-paints.
I can't say enough about brand spankin' new X-acto blades. The first few cuts are the just... the best. I went through 3 blades on this tiny piece.
Here is Dev's piece, Mxyxptlk and Batmite! I love the expressions in all of Dev's characters... ;-)

I made this for Dev for Valentine's Day. She's about 15in. tall.
Now, Stumpy Batman has a ladyfriend!

Flatcolor Gallery: Augie!

Hey folks! Head on down to Flatcolor Gallery this thursday for Augie Pagan's show! Augie will be showcasing his amazing paintings alongside fellow artist Dave MacDowell.
